|
The Town Board, with the exception of the Town Supervisor (two year term), serves a term of four years. They are a legislative, governing and policy making body of town government. They approve the budget, and vote on appropriations throughout the year. They also determine "Town Laws" and appoint officials to various other boards within the Town as well as serve as liaisons to the various departments within town government.
The Guilderland Town Board holds a public meeting twice a month (see town calendar) and can also be viewed live during those meetings on Cable Channel 17 (Public Access Television).
