BURGLARY ALERT - TOWN OF GUILDERLAND
The Guilderland Police Department has responded to several daytime burglaries within the past few weeks, in the Fort Hunter and Settles Hill area of the Town where residents have returned home and discovered their house had been broken into.
The perpetrator gains access to the residence by forcing in a door, usually causing significant damage. Items have been stolen from inside.
This release is not to alarm our residents, but to alert them of this activity. It is a reminder to all residents to lock doors and utilize burglar alarm systems if available. Be alert for yourself and your neighbors and report any suspicious activity to the Guilderland Police Department at 356-1501 or 911 in an emergency.
