Welcome to Guilderland's Parks! The Town of Guilderland is proud to offer its residents 7 well-maintained parks within the Town. The parks are open to all Town of Guilderland residents and most facilities are open year-round until dusk. Residents of the Town can obtain park stickers for Tawasentha Park and the Winter Recreation Area at the Town Clerk's Office in Town Hall or at the Parks & Recreation Department located across from Tawasentha Park on Route 146.
Roger Keenholts Park
French's Hollow Road
Guilderland Center, NY
Roger Keenholts Park, with entrances on Hurst Road and French’s Hollow Road in Guilderland Center, was added to the Town's park system in 1993 as the need for additional ballfields grew. The park is named in honor of Roger Keenholts, a former historian for the Town of Guilderland and Village of Altamont. The park is the home of the Pine Bush Little League and Pine Bush Girls’ Softball League, which serve the communities of Guilderland, Altamont and Voorheesville.
The park has eight little league fields, five girls’ softball fields, batting cages for the leagues, two concession stands and a new Babe Ruth field for the Guilderland Babe Ruth players. A new scoreboard, donated in part by Pioneer Savings Bank, was recently erected at the Babe Ruth Dutchmen's Field in the park.
The Pine Bush Leagues are managed by volunteers who coordinate the boys’ and girls’ leagues and scheduling of games.
