Guilderland Town Supervisor, Kenneth Runion, announced on June 3, 2008, that Carol J. Lawlor has been appointed by the Guilderland Town Board as the Chief of Police. Chief Lawlor has served in the Guilderland Police Department since 1978.
Chief Lawlor will officially take the oath of office on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Guilderland Town Hall. Members of the media and public are invited.
Chief Lawlor is the third police chief of the department since it was organized in 1971.
