Unfinished Business
1) Nott Road / Grant Hill Road / Foundry Road – The traffic count has been done but not yet analyzed due to equipment/software issues. T/B/C
2) Christine Drive (east) at Jean Place – same as above. T/B/C
New Business
1) Wormer Road – The Albany Country Club requests approval for two pedestrian crossings so that golfers and golf carts can cross Wormer. It was determined that this would be handled as a pedestrian crossing and that approval would need to be granted by the Town Board since the Town would be responsible for the installation and maintenance of the necessary signage and pavement markings. The cost of the materials could be borne by the Club as offered by the Club’s General Manager but that decision is outside the scope of the TSC. It was agreed that the
crossings are appropriate. The TSC voted to recommend to the Town Board installation the appropriate signs sufficient for two crossings on Wormer Drive. N/F/A
2) Pauline Avenue - This request was received from Donald Beach of Pauline Avenue. He expressed concern for the numerous west-bound tractor trailer trucks using Pauline and other local streets as a short cut from Western Avenue to Route 155. The area is strictly residential. The TSC voted to recommend to the Town Board the installation of a “No Commercial Traffic” signage on Pauline. N/F/A
