What is there to do at the parks in the winter?

The Town offers lots of cold weather activities during the winter. Cold weather enthusiasts can take advantage of the town's park system, with sledding and snow tubing at the Winter Recreation Area (1/8-mile past the entrance to Tawasentha Park), snow-shoeing and cross-country skiing at the ungroomed trail system, or groomed cross country skiing trails at Western Turnpike Golf Course.
