Tawasentha Park Pavilion Rentals

The Guilderland Parks & Recreation Department will begin booking Tawasentha Park pavilion rentals on Monday, January 3, 2022 for the 2022 season at 8:00 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.  Walk-in reservations (with payment) will take priority over phone, faxed or emailed reservation requests (with payment).   (Covid-19 procedures listed below.)  A Request for Use of Facilities form must be submitted with payment and a signed Know the Rules form. To guarantee booking a pavilion, residents must submit the Facilities Use Form and full payment (credit card, check, cash or money order) to the Town of Guilderland. Forms can be dropped off or mailed to the Guilderland Parks & Recreation Department at 181 Route 146, Altamont, NY 12009, or faxed to 518-456-3156.   Please be advised the time change for the Guilderland High School has increased the amount of traffic on Rte 146 around 8:00am.      

PLEASE NOTE:  Phone and faxed reservations will only be accepted with full payment at the time the reservation is made.  Due to increased use of the pavilions at Tawasentha Park, the Parks & Recreation Department will no longer 'hold' reservations for 10 business days.  Refunds for pavilion rental cancellations are not available.

Guilderland residents may rent Pavilions from May 1 through October 31. 

COVID-19 PROCEDURES: On Monday 1/3/22, each person will be given a number when they arrive.  Please plan to wait in your car - office staff will assist residents in the order they arrive.  Please wear a mask/face covering, and if possible, have your Request for Use of Facilities form filled out, sign the Know the Rules form (attached) and have payment ready to make your reservation as easy and quick as possible!

Large Pavilion at Tawasentha Park

LARGE PAVILION: The large pavilion accommodates up to 200 guests (must be reserved by a Guilderland resident).  A large grill area is available for use, as well as electricity and water.  There are no cooking facilities other than the grill area at the pavilions.  Public restrooms are located adjacent to the large pavilion.  The large pavilion holds approximately 20 - 25 picnic tables. The rental fee is $175 for residents and nonprofit groups and $235 for Business, groups of +100 and private groups. 

Small Pavilion at Tawasentha Park

SMALL PAVILION: The small pavilion accommodates up to 40 guests (must be reserved by a Guilderland resident).  A water fountain, grill, and electricity are available for use.  The small pavilion holds approximately 8 picnic tables and is located in the lower fields.  The rental fee is $125 for residents and nonprofit groups and $150 for Business, groups of +100 and private groups.

Chalet Pavilion

CHALET PAVILION:  The Guilderland Chalet pavilion accommodates up to 75 guests (must be reserved by a Guilderland resident.)  This is an interior/exterior facility located on left of the circle past the playground and volleyball court.  The interior has electricity, a counter area, high top tables and chairs. The exterior pavilion area holds approximately 6 picnic tables, a grill and water.  There are no additional cooking facilities inside the Chalet.  The rental fee is $150 for residents and nonprofit groups and $200 for Business, groups of +100 and private groups.

Western Turnpike Golf Course Pavilion

WESTERN TURNPIKE GOLF COURSE PAVILION:  Located on the premises of the Western Turnpike Golf Course, the pavilion accommodates up to 750 guests (must be reserved by a Guilderland resident.)  This is an interior/exterior facility.  The interior has electricity, restrooms, a countertop (bar area) and picnic tables. The exterior has open grass space for activites.  The rental fee is $750 for parties of 200-500 and $1000 for parties of 501-750 (Monday-Sunday).

Our pavilion rentals open on January 3, 2022 at 8:00am for the 2022 season on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please fill out the 2022 Request for Use of Facilities Form and submit it with full payment to reserve a pavilion.
